Interview to Miss Cristina Wang

Interviewer: Miss Wang, could you tell us where Sun Moon Lake is located?
Miss Wang: Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area is located in Nantou County in central Taiwan. It is Taiwan’s largest freshwater lake and one of the country’s 13 national scenic areas.

I: What is so special about Sun Moon Lake?
Miss Wang: What is most special about Sun Moon Lake is the beautiful landscape. There are many ways to discover Sun Moon Lake’s beauty. You can ride a bike, take a row boat, or just stroll around.


I: Have you ever been there?
Miss Wang: Not yet..

I: Would you like to go there?
Miss Wang: Yes, I would love to! In fact, I can’t wait to tour it when I grow up!

I: I hear there are many temples at Sun Moon Lake. Which is the most intereseting one?
Miss Wang: For me the most interesting is Wen Wu Temple(文武廟 in Chinese) because there are intriguing legends about it.


I: What kind of activities can you do at Sun Moon lake?
Miss Wang: You can ride around a bike and admire the beautiful scenery, there are various attractions along the way. You can also row around the lake. There are many fitness activities as well as leisure activities to do.

I: Are there any good places to eat and sleep?
Miss Wang: My first choice would be a hotel called The Crystal Resort. You can enjoy the beauty of Sun Moon Lake, it has an excellent view.

I: I hear Sun Moon Lake is home to an aboriginal tribe, which tribe is it?
Miss Wang: Yes, the area around the Sun Moon Lake is home to the Thao tribe, one of aboriginal tribes in Taiwan.

I: That is very interesting! And how much does the entry ticket cost?
Miss Wang: The admission is free, unless you want to travel by train.
